We keep the range small on purpose. Every product earns its place in one of five classes, and if it doesn't do its job, it doesn't go in the ring.

Which brush for which coat?

The wrong brush is how a beast learns to hate brushing. Find the coat type, then the tool. When in doubt, ask us: we answer every message ourselves.

Short & smooth

Labrador, beagle, boxer, most short-haired cats

What it needs

Loose hair lifted out before it lands on the sofa.

Tools

How often

Once or twice a week

Double coat

Husky, German shepherd, golden retriever, corgi

What it needs

The soft undercoat thinned out, especially in spring and autumn shedding. Never shave a double coat.

How often

Two or three times a week, daily while shedding

Long & silky

Shih tzu, Yorkshire terrier, Maine coon, Persian

What it needs

Knots caught early, before they turn into mats close to the skin.

Curly & woolly

Poodle, doodles, bichon frisé

What it needs

Brushing all the way down to the skin, one section at a time. Curls hide mats.

Light brushing at home. The dead coat is best hand-stripped by a groomer a few times a year.

Smells like a winner.

Eau de Beast is a light mist for the days between baths. Spray on the back, brush it through, done. Three scents, all made for dogs.
